An evening with young, but already acknowledged Polish jazz musicians. Thomas Gustafsson said of the RGG Trio that "experiencing the music of RGG Trio gives me an obvious feeling, why Polish art of music has always been so much appreciated ever since the days of Frederic Chopin". Anders Jormin added that the young musicians "approach their music with careful minds and with souls humbly filled with respect for the occasion". RGG share with Jormin a fascination with Scandinavian moods and classical music, as proven on their tribute album to Karol Szymanowski. The group consists of Łukasz Ojdana (piano), Maciej Garbowski (double bass) and Krzysztof Gradziuk (percussion).
Sphere are a Polish trio – Kuba Dybżyński (clarinet), Ania Rybacka (voice) and Marek Kądziela (guitar), whose mild, lyrical sound merges Scandinavian fascinations with Polish roots. They treat jazz as a framework on which they weave in shades of folk and echoes of classical music.
