Dear Parents, Dear Adults,
I want to invite you to participate in an unusual project whose aim is to teach parents to sing for their children and with their children. The singing classes take place in birth schools, in maternity wards and in family-friendly places. The number of organization willing to join our project is growing.
During three meetings, each lasting thirty minutes, parents (or grandparents or carers) learn how to sing lullabies and popular songs for children. They get to know how singing influences the baby’s development and get practical advice on singing and music to learn from. During our workshops I am happy to see what fun it is to sing, both for parents and for children. Singing helps children to express their emotions. It also stimulates language acquisition. The lyrics we teach are of high artistic and educational quality, bringing culture to our homes.
I encourage you to join this project. I hope that soon singing become a natural element of life and upbringing in all families.
