The world continues to shrink. You can reach any part of the world within a dozen hours. And we continue to become closer to each other, too. Our songs and our instruments are less and less distant. Musical cultures are coming closer and we find more that connects rather than divides. We rejoice in encounters breeding new ideas in us. We enrich what is ‘ours’ with the ‘other’ we have not known so far and whose value we are privileged to discover. We share sounds whose power is a hundred times bigger than the power of bombs produced out of fear.
We discover the archaic world of our predecessors to know ourselves, their descendants, better. We make up the World Music Orchestra to understand more and experience more. We invite musicians who are intrigued by the unknown to collaborate with us.
