Taking care of the continuous development and increasing the competences of conductors, the Choral Academy organizes a number of events every year:
a) national choirmaster workshops,
b) national seminar for conducting at the Polish National Youth Choir,
c)national research and artistic conference entitled The Choir Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

Training at the Choral Academy covers a wide range of topics:  from the methodology of conductor’s work, through issues related to voice emission, to the psychological aspects of working with a choir. They are also an opportunity to cooperate with excellent theorists and practitioners, both Polish and international. Training activities organized by the Choral Academy are addressed to conductors from all over Poland and are open to everyone.

National choirmaster workshops

One of the main tasks of the project is to organize trainings for conductors to increase their substantive, psychological and organizational capacity. During numerous choirmaster workshops taking place all over Poland, conductors cooperate with both Polish and foreign experts in the field of choral music and related fields, in order to expand their knowledge and skills. These types of classes are designed to provide all participants with access to the same workshop content. They also provide an opportunity to meet conductors from different parts of Poland and share experiences.
