Unique moments in a unique space – concerts at the National Forum of Music are a great idea for a memorable evening. We have prepared special subscriptions for our wonderful audience. Thanks to them, music lovers can regularly participate in events graced by the most important personalities of classical music of our time! Subscribers can be sure that there will be tickets for the most popular concerts available for them, and that they will be given the best seats in the Main Hall with a discount of over 20% on the regular ticket prices for individual concerts.

The season will be opened by the outstanding pianist Barry Douglas – he will be one of many fantastic artists who will appear in our beautiful concert hall. Elisabeth Leonskaja and the concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker Daniel Stabrawa will return, the latter performing in a double role of conductor and soloist. Guest artists will include: Nicholas McGegan specializing in early music, excellent Hungarian cellist István Várdai, principal oboist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Alexei Ogrintchouk and Krzysztof Penderecki, who will conduct the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic and the NFM Choir. One of the most important events will be the inauguration of the new instrument – the pipe organ built by Orgelbau Klais Bonn!

The repertoire of symphonic concerts will include music by favourite composers. We will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven by presenting his works. In addition, the programmes will include Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gustav Mahler, Antonín Dvořák and Richard Strauss. There will also be many opportunities to listen to works of fascinating 20th-century artists – Witold Lutosławski, Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin as well as contemporary artists, including the premieres of new works commissioned by the NFM from such composers as Brett Dean and Mikołaj Górecki.

Another beautiful season awaits us, full of performances of guest artists from around the world and the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic. We hope you will join us. See you at the concerts!
