The concert is a fruit of collaboration of Wrocław-based musicinas. Interested in world music, the artists present their own impressions of the world's mountains. The Tatras, Himalayas, Caucasus, Mount Fuji, Mount Kilimanjaro, and others. The concert features arrangements of songs from Africa, Armenia, Macedonia, Brazil and other parts of the world where mountains are loved and respected. However, mountains are just a pretext for creating a singular sound ambience. Through the cross-over of cultures and music traditions and using an extended set of instruments, we will try to describe our arttitude towards the beauty of the world we live in.
The music will be played on the hurdy-gurdy, rag dhun, sitar, one-hole flute, shakuhachi, violin, didgeridoo, clarinet, darabuka, djembe, angklung, zenko, Tibetan bowls, storm drum, tambura, kalimba, drumlas, big drum, gongs, daf, sansula, wind & metal chimes, berimbau, and cajón.
