Educational Concerts for teenagers

The aim of the concerts for teenagers is to make them consciously focus on experiencing music, present works coming from various cultures and eras as well as making them familiar the lives of famous composers.

This is how young people meet art professionals sharing with them their knowledge and passion for music. The aim of these concerts is to awake in the young listeners the need of beauty.

Family Concerts and Young People’s Concerts

Concert series addressed to families, kindergarten children as well as pupils. Both Family Concerts and Young People concerts feature chamber ensembles, the NFM Symphony Orchestra as well as conductors, soloists, actors and dancers.

Hosts introduce the world of music to the listeners, talking suggestively and convincingly about works and composers. The audience has an opportunity of learning about how instruments are built and how they sound and to feel the taste of various musical cultures.

Outreach Programmes

A series of concerts performed by chamber ensembles in schools and kindergartens, programmed in line with kindergarten and school curriculum with an aim to enrich and supplement
musical education.

In kindergartens concerts have the form of musical fairy-tales. Children learn about instruments and their sounds, musical genres, folk music, the names of great composers, their lives and works as well as various musical cultures.

Mummy, Daddy, Sing to Me

Dear Parents, Dear Adults,

I want to invite you to participate in an unusual project whose aim is to teach parents to sing for their children and with their children. The singing classes take place in birth schools, in maternity wards and in family-friendly places. The number of organization willing to join our project is growing.

Speaking Concerts

‘Speaking Concerts’ are meant to introduce various aspects of music to the widest audience possible. Each concert presents a composer and his work in their historical and cultural context.
The conductor of Speaking Concerts is at the same time their narrator showing how a work of music was created and what its inspirations were through playing and commenting upon carefully selected fragments, thus enabling the listeners who are fresh to classical music to be initiated into the intricacies of compositional craft.

The Educational Centre

The National Forum of Music Education Centre is a new initiative designed with the youngest children in mind. We organize classes for expectant mothers, infants, kindergarten children and young schoolchildren.
The Education Centre was born from love of music and from our deep conviction that everyone needs music. This is the most beautiful and most universal art form. Music teaches, moves our emotions, develops, relaxes, cures  and provides extraordinary experiences.

The National Forum of Music, plac Wolności 1, 50-071 Wrocław, co-managed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, City of Wrocław and Lower Silesian Province, registered in Rejestr Instytucji Kultury run by the City of Wrocław as RIK 38/2014.
