Already in the second issue of Glissando we juxtaposed Karlheinz Stockhausen with Björk. In the 44th issue we wish to come back to the relatioships between avant-garde and popular music. This subject will be talked about by Managing Editor Antoni Michnik. We will foray into the territories of music that normally functions as pop, opposing many other currents (rock in the fist place) and will have a look at experiments with sound, words and composing carried out at the boundary of pop. The other guest of the meeting will be Artur Zagajewski, who ever since the beginnings of his career has picked up a guitar while on stage and icluded elements of various stylistics in his work: punk, metal and minimal. The meeting will be held in Polish.
