II leader of cellos – auditions
The audition will take place on 7 May 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the Red Hall of the National Forum of Music, pl. Wolności 1, Wrocław, Poland.

Stage One:
J.S. Bach: Prelude from Cello Suite (Suite no. 4 E flat Major BWV 1010 or Suite no. 5 in C minor BWV 1011 or Suite no. 6 in D Major BWV 1012)
and:
J. Haydn: Cello Concerto D Major Hob VIIb:2 (mvt. I and II with cadenzas)
Stage Two:
Cello Concerto from the Romantic or 20th-century era, 1st movement
A. Dvořak: Cello Concerto in B minor op. 104
D. Shostakovich: Cello Concerto no. 1 in E flat Major op. 107
R. Schumann: Cello Concerto in A minor op. 129
Orchestral studies (selected fragments are marked in the online music material in .ZIP format):
A. Berg: Drei Stücke from Lyrischen Suite
B. Britten: Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge op. 10
E.W. Korngold: Sextet op. 10
G. Bacewicz: Concerto for String Orchestra

The organiser provides an accompanist only on the day of the audition.
Details of the audition schedule will be provided to candidates after their list is closed.
Depending on the number of applicants, the NFM reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to the audition
