Time for Neoklez

It is time to invite our listeners again to the fascinating world of klezmer music. During this December concert, we will hear musical stories full of emotions, nostalgia and passion, presented by the Neoklez band. Five musicians will take over our stage. Their incredible energy will carry us away in a whirlwind of Klezmer-Balkan sounds. The band’s compositions are characterized by irregular metres, rhythmic shifts and a combination of traditional sounds with elements of contemporary popular music.

Klezmer music is a real explosive mixture. It entertains and makes you dance just as often as it stirs your deepest emotions. It will surely delight everyone, regardless of age.

The concert is based on the music learning theory of Professor Edwin E. Gordon. The aim of this  concept is to enhance children’s musical aptitude and support their comprehensive development. The form of the meeting is very casual. Children, along with their parents and/or carers, sit on the floor between the musicians and actively participate in the workshops. The performers establish contact with the audience and encourage them to sing, dance and clap the rhythms together.
