The NFM Music Lovers Academy invites you to participate in the interdisciplinary project Breath Music, combining the experience of classical music with building awareness of body and breath. The centerpiece of the workshop will be a flute recital, transcending the traditional concert format and transforming it into a space for shared experience, mindfulness, and dialogue between the artist and the audience.
The workshop will present breathing techniques designed to prepare the body and mind for mindful listening. What is most natural in music – the rhythm of breathing – will become the starting point for a deeper understanding, perception, and experience of it. The event is open to all those seeking new forms of relaxation, calm, and self-discovery, regardless of their background. This is an invitation to conscious listening and co-creating a musical experience not through theoretical analysis, but through intuitive and emotional action. Reflections on the importance of breath in art and everyday life will complement the workshop.
To ensure comfort during the workshop, please bring comfortable clothing, a mat, and a blanket or warm sweatshirt – these will be useful during relaxation or floor exercises.
