During this year’s The Night of Museums, join us for the exciting experience of the Sound Gallery. The NFM space will be filled with various concerts, mini-concerts, and installations located in unusual corners of the venue – including those not normally accessible to you.
The duo of brothers Piotr and Paweł Nowicki, who have specialised in performing contemporary music for piano and percussion for over thirty years, presents their premiere programme. During three twenty-minute concerts held as part of the Sound Gallery in the NFM space, the artists will present compositions by Magdalena Gorwa, Marzena Komsta, Martyna Kosecka, Szymon Wieczorek, and Artur Zagajewski. The duo’s aim is to showcase the widest possible spectrum of timbral possibilities of percussion instruments and the piano, so this time too, there will be no shortage of innovative, unconventional, engaging, and sensory-stimulating sounds. The works presented will include entirely acoustic pieces, as well as those utilising advanced electronics and multimedia.
These are five magnificent musical worlds, three concerts, and one duo. The experiences and emotions are countless.
