The project, in development since October, has resulted in an interdisciplinary performance at the intersection of music and theatre. No i jak tu nie jechać? (Well, how not to go?) is the culmination of a year’s work by young people participating in Open Form classes. Most importantly, the young artists are responsible for the final shape of the project, contributing to its content.
The event’s title is inspired by the words of the poet Jeremi Przybora, and the basis for the production is works from the canon of Polish literary song. The songs form the basis of the drama, serving as a starting point for scenes based on pantomime and improvisation.
The story revolves around a shared journey – understood both literally and metaphorically: as a process of maturation, a path of growth, and a search for one’s identity. It is a moving story about a journey that, though sometimes complex, always leads to deeper self-discovery. Thanks to the young people’s involvement, this subject gains extraordinary freshness and authenticity, moving audiences of all ages.
