The National Forum of Music invites you the Choral Academy project!
For this very special occasion, the NFM will proudly host a number of choirs from area educational institutions, vocal ensembles, music institutions, cultural centres and universities. The project has sponsored additional classes for students and workshops for choristers and conductors. The National Concert of Singing Wrocław is one of many events carried out as part of the celebrations of the century of regaining independence by Poland this season. The program will feature choral works by Polish composers. During the concert, there will be references to folk culture, including in the works Tryptyk kurpiowski and Przybyli Ułas by Jan Krutul, Krakowiak by Jerzy Zabłocki and the Polonaise Pożegnanie ojczyzny by Michał Kleofas Ogiński. The youth chorus will also present children's compositions composed by well-known Polish authors, such as Józef Świder, Tadeusz Sygietyński and Paweł Stuczyński. Additionally, the program with feature music from our much beloved Witold Lutosławski. His works Pióreczko or Kotek, are very popular among children.
