The leitmotif of the first part of the concert will be physical activity. The audience will watch documentary movies about sport with music written in the 1960s by Polish composers. The festival organized by the National Forum of Music is also an opportunity to its resident ensembles, in this case - the Polish Cello Quartet. The artists have not yet had a chance to perform during Musica Polonica Nova.

The organizers of the concert decided to redefine the concept of the stage. Usually all the chairs of the audience are positioned in the same direction, which makes the audience look in one direction. However, if there is no well-defined stage and the listeners are given a swivel chair, they will be able to choose the direction they want to look at and change it depending on their needs.

During the first part of the concert we will see Nad Tatrami (Over the Tatra) with the music composed by Józef Patkowski and Krzysztof Szlifirski and Refleks 0.23... (Reflex 0.23…) with music written by Eugeniusz Rudnik. These movies will first be presented with original soundtracks. Then the second one will be screened with live accompaniment by the Kwartludium ensemble.

During the second part of the concert, the Polish Cello Quartet’s music videos to compositions by Artur Zagajewski and Adrian Foltyn, recorded from different perspectives, will be screened. The intention is to inspire the audience to look for the best perspective on the reception of sounds and images, move them out of their comfort zone, as well as highlight the ambiguity associated with active rather than passive use of space.
