This title refers to a series of workshops for children in three age groups, during which they will create mini electronic compositions – "dryngiels". The starting point will be sound samples sent by the composers participating in this year's edition of the Musica Polonica Nova Festival and members of the Wrocław Branch of the Polish Composers' Union. Under the supervision of the composer Mateusz Ryczek, workshop participants will create their own mini-compositions using music programs. Digital sound processing techniques and Cubase editing software will be used. The resulting dryngiels will be available to listen to and download (e.g. as a smartphone ringtone) on the websites of the NFM and the Municipal Public Library as well as in the form of an artistic mini-installation in the NFM Education Centre, where using a specially designed button one will be able to randomly pick and listen to particular "dryngiels".
Admission free. You can sign up for Dryngiel by filling in a form available from 5 May 2022 on the NFM website.
The project is a part of the Sound Gallery – a special event of the Musica Polonica Nova festival.
