In the NFM Main Hall, the music can be heard equally well from every place, but this does not mean that it is heard exactly the same. The second of three concerts of the TransOrganic series will use the specific sound of the balconies of this huge auditorium. This is where the audience of the 34th Musica Polonica Nova will listen to the premiere of Something New. It will be performed by the composer, organist Jan Paweł Przegendza. He will be accompanied by Maciej Michaluk, responsible for the electronic layer of the music.

Przegendza, a graduate of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, is currently a collaborator of the Department of Ear Training and Musical Imagination of his alma mater. He comes from Zabrze. He also studied organ playing with Julian Gembalski at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and with Martin Haselböck at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. He is a laureate of several international and national composition and organ competitions. He has been a several-time beneficiary of the Wrocław City Scholarship for young artists. In his work to date, he has focused on how the music sounds, to which other elements of his work have often been subordinated. Therefore, the possibilities offered by integrating the amazing NFM organ with electronics allow us to expect incredible sound experiences from his concert.
