INTERNATIONAL ORCHESTRAS CONFERENCE
As the global classical music industry builds back out of the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s time to come together at Poland’s first ever International Orchestras Conference to look at the key challenges and opportunities that we face now and into the future. How can we leverage the lessons we learned during the pandemic to forge resilience and relevance to our communities?  How can we best use professional networks and new technology to become stronger and deliver greater impact?  What will orchestras look like in the next decade – more of the same, or radically different? From managers to musicians, venues to festivals, labels to broadcasters, join us over 3 days for in-depth discussions on what is happening across other industries and how can we learn from each other’s experiences to make our sector future proof.

VENUE
The conference is organised and hosted by the National Forum of Music, one of the biggest and most acclaimed performing arts organisations in the world, recently honoured with the International Classical Music Award 2023 for special achievements. It is famous for its state-of-the-art acoustics and a rich programme offer, presenting classical, early, ethnic, contemporary, electronic, jazz, dance and interdisciplinary projects. NFM is home to thirteen orchestras, chamber groups and choirs, in addition to seven festivals.

During the conference, delegates will have an opportunity to participate in the inauguration of the 58th International Festival Wratislavia Cantans, and the festival opening concert will feature Christoph Eschenbach and the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic. Tickets are available online
