Music from a speaker, or stories about electro sounds
A journey to the sources of electronic music? For children? Why not! During the Mini Akusma Forum, join the meeting with Mariusz Grabowski, and he will take you to a time and space machine. Ahead of us is a journey through the sounds of computers, samplers, synthesizers and other devices that have been used by electronic music composers for decades. Quite new, slightly older and quite old pieces will be played: the programme includes examples from the works by Wendy Carlos, Ruth White, Delia Derbyshire, Isao Tomita, Eugeniusz Rudnik and others. A lot of listening, a bit of storytelling with interaction and narration, which will take young listeners into the world of ambitious and exploratory electronic music. In a casual atmosphere, on pouffes, under the dome of perfect sound – as ever in the hospitable spaces of the Mini Akusma Forum.
