The Necks have been playing with the same line-up – Tony Buck, Chris Abrahams and Lloyd Swanton – for 30 years. They're famous for their slowly, carefully developing improvisations, during which the artists build detailed musical microcosms. Their hypnotic, trance-like, ambitious, but surprisingly accessible combination of avant-garde jazz, minimalism and ambient guarantees a fascinating journey into the unknown. This is proven by enthusiastic reactions to the Australian trio's performances – something that the Polish audience is already familiar with.
