In instrumental music of the French Baroque, the preference for giving programme titles to works of music was extremely strong. And although we find among them only dances with specific characters and subtle decorations, these include the images of various figures, meteorological phenomena, nationalities, animals, and above all, images evoking a rustic mood. During the harpsichord recital, we will get to know the charms of rural life, experience dramatic weather changes, and at the same time listen to the greatest achievements of music of the Baroque era.
