The brillant style, demanding an incredible perfection of the performers, played an important role in the salons of the first half of the nineteenth century. Performers in those times would give a unique show of artistry during the concerts, playing freely with the sound. The Art Chamber Duo, for whom this virtuoso style has no secrets, will perform on the NFM stage.
The excellent pianist Julita Przybylska-Nowak and the talented violinist Jarosław Pietrzak teach daily at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. Less than a decade ago, they performed together for the first time during the ceremony of awarding the Righteous Among the Nations medals, organized by the Yad Vashem Institute. It was a turning point in their careers. Since then, they have been playing works by tragically deceased composers, trying to save their works from oblivion. The Art Chamber Duo places great emphasis on presenting the wide range of possibilities of violin and piano. The result is a captivating, multi-coloured musical landscape that is difficult to describe in words.
During the concert at the National Forum of Music, the artists will reach for compositions by those who felt at home in a virtuoso brillant style. At the beginning, a piece inspired by the work of Franz Schubert will be presented. It was composed by two outstanding artists: Charles de Kontski and Claude Pfeiffer. In the second part of the concert, the ensemble will perform a composition of two authors - Belgian violinist Henri Vieuxtemps and Edward Wolff, an outstanding pianist of Polish descent. The phenomenal musicians of Art Chaber Duo performing carefully selected repertoire will surely give music lovers with an evening full of unforgettable emotions.
