Duo van Vliet, founded by Rafał Łuc and Ian Anderson, bears the name of the unpredictable creator of avant-garde rock – Captain Beefheart. In a peculiar tribute to his memory, the musicians are constantly expanding the creative possibilities of a rare but intriguing combination – a collaboration of accordion and viola. The duo pursues this aim by, among other things, commissioning as many works as possible for their composition. During the recital, as many as two compositions will be premiered. The piece ...Hey, hey – Fairy's Play by Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil belongs to the author's Madrigals cycle. According to its principle, the key to a composition is its title. Artur Kroschel, in his commentary on Invisible, is equally mysterious: I do not see many small and great things. What is one thing I cannot see? This is counterbalanced by Rafał Zapala's USŁUGA (SERVICE), which offers specific, audio-visual-performative commentary on the position of the artist-musician in late-capitalist society.
