The NFM Girls’ Choir, whose members are girls aged nine to eighteen, was founded in September 2022 by Andrzej Kosendiak. From the beginning, it has worked under the direction of Małgorzata Podzielny, who originated its idea.
Despite the short period of activity, the NFM Girls’ Choir has gained recognition for participating in the musical life of Wrocław, realising artistic projects in collaboration with famous conductors – including Ernst Kovacic and Enrico Onofri – and such ensembles as the European Union Baroque Orchestra, NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra, LutosAir Quintet, Lutosławski Quartet, NFM Choir, NFM Boys’ Choir and Rondo Vocal Ensemble. The choir has taken part in, among others a concert of the Witold Lutosławski World Days, a concert of carols and pastorals, music and theatre workshops, recordings of the album Philharmonic of Mr Kleks, in the 14th Leo Festival, as an honorary guest in the 22nd International Ignaz Reimann Choral Music Festival in Wambierzyce, in the European Youth Festival “Fête de l’Europe” in Dresden (2023), as well as in the 58th International Festival Wratislavia Cantans.
