Jazztopad 2024

I most cordially invite you to the 21st Jazztopad Festival, during which we will once again celebrate jazz masters and improvised music and together discover artists who are not yet widely recognised in Poland but create wonderful and unique projects.

Abdullah Ibrahim – one of the last jazz legends, who has been on my dream list – will celebrate his 90th birthday here, and I am very happy that he will finally perform in Wrocław. The festival will open with a project dedicated to Ornette Coleman, with a stellar line-up including Denardo Coleman (Ornette’s son), Ambrose Akinmusire, Isaiah Collier and Jakob Bro.

For the first time we will host, among others Samora Pinderhoughs, Linda Fredriksson, aja monet, Sarah Murcia and Sun-Mi Hong. Great returns include The Necks, SAAGARA with Wacław Zimpel and Giridhar Udupa or the premiere project of Kris Davis with the Lutosławski Quartet and in a duet with the legend of Australian jazz – Paul Grabowski.See you in November!
