Bach Consort Wien (założony w 1999 r.) stał się pod dyrekcją Rubéna Dubrovsky’ego jedną z najlepszychorkiestr barokowych w Austrii. Zespół występował w prestiżowych salach koncertowych, takich jak Wiener Musikverein i Wiener Konzerthaus, Palau de la Música w Walencji i Barcelonie oraz Brucknerhaus Linz. Jest także stałym gościem festiwali Internationale Barocktage Stift Melk, Mozartwoche Salzburg, styriarte, Festival Estoril Lisboa, OsterKlang, RheinVokal i Händel-Festspiele w Halle, by wymienić tylko kilka.

Ansambl współpracuje z wieloma wybitnymi solistami, takimi jak Emma Kirkby, Bernarda Fink, Christiane Karg, Franco Fagioli, Michael Schade, AndreasScholl, Vivica Genaux, Florian Boesch, Terry Wey, Antonio Giovannini, Daniel Johannsen i Christophe Coin. Dyrygentami gościnnymi zespołu są Alan Curtis, Stefan Gottfried, Attilio Cremonesi i Markellos Chryssikos.

Pozostając wierni muzycznym korzeniom zespołu, jego członkowie i koncertmistrzyni Agnes Stradner regularnie występują jako Solisten des Bach Consort Wien w różnych formacjach muzyki kameralnej. Ich koncerty obejmują różnorodny repertuar i interdyscyplinarne projekty łączące muzykę z tańcem i literaturą. Od 2014 r. doroczny Osterkonzert w wykonaniu Bach Consort Wien jest transmitowany przez ORF, 3sat i innych nadawców na całym świecie.

Do tej pory Bach Consort Wien opublikował DVD z Selva morale e spirituale C. Monteverdiego (ORF), Messiah G.F. Händla (Gramola/Naxos), Pace e guerra z Terrym Weyem (Sony/Harmonia Mundi) i Vidala – Argentina and Roots of European Baroque (Gramola). Dwa nagrania A. Vivaldiego na żywo z udziałem Viviki Genaux i Andreasa Scholla ukazały się w 2018 r.

Bach Consort Wien (founded in 1999) has established itself as one of Austria’s best Baroque orchestras under the direction of Rubén Dubrovsky. The group has performed in prestigious concert halls such as the Vienna Musikverein and Vienna Konzerthaus, the Palau de la Musica Valencia and Barcelona, and the Brucknerhaus Linz. The ensemble is also a regular guest at the festival Internationale Barocktage Stift Melk, Mozartwoche Salzburg, styriarte, Festival Estoril Lisboa, OsterKlang, Rhein Vokaland the Handel Festival in Halle, to name but a few.

Bach Consort enjoyed many inspiring collaborations with renowned soloists such as Emma Kirkby, Bernarda Fink, Christiane Karg, Franco Fagioli, Michael Schade, Andreas Scholl, Vivica Genaux, Florian Boesch, Terry Wey, Antonio Giovannini, Daniel Johannsen and Christophe Coin. Remaining true to the ensemble’s musical roots, its members and concertmaster Agnes Stradner regularly perform as Solisten des Bach Consort Wien in varying chamber music formations. Performances include a diverse repertoire and interdisciplinary projects with dancers and literature. Since 2014, Bach Consort Wien’s annual Osterkonzert is broadcast by ORF, 3sat and other broadcasters around the world.

So far, Bach Consort Wien has released a DVD of C. Monteverdi’s Selva morale e spirituale (ORF), G. F. Handel’s Messiah (Gramola/Naxos), Pace e guerra with Terry Wey (Sony/Harmonia Mundi), and Vidala – Argentina and Roots of European Baroque (Gramola). Two live A. Vivaldi recordings starring Vivica Genaux and Andreas Scholl were released in 2018.
