Ukończyła studia wokalne w Conservatorio di Musica „Luca Marenzio” w Brescii; najpierw kształciła się pod kierunkiem Bernardette Manca di Nissa, następnie – Teresy Berganzy. W 2010 r. zdobyła stypendium, które pozwoliło jej uczestniczyć w Ateneo Internazionale della Lirica w Sulmonie.

Francesca Ascioti zadebiutowała jako Pani Quickly u boku Renata Brusona w Falstaffie Verdiego w Busseto w listopadzie 2013 – przedstawienie powstało w koprodukcji Accademia Teatro alla Scala w Mediolanie i Teatro Regio w Parmie (reż. Marina Bianchi). W 2014 r. śpiewała w IX Symfonii Beethovena w Teatro Massimo Bellini w Katanii. W tym samym roku wykonała partię Zity w operze Gianni Schicchi Pucciniego w Piacenzy i Baronessy di Champigny w Il cappello di paglia di Firenze Roty w Bari (reż. Elena Barbalich). W kolejnych sezonach kreowała rolę Ozjasza w Juditha triumphans Vivaldiego pod dyrekcją Alessandra De Marchi w Wenecji. Artystka wzięła też udział w Italian Opera Academy Riccarda Mutiego, śpiewając pod jego batutą w Falstaffie. Pod kierownictwem Andre Marcona wystąpiła jako Junona w La fida ninfa Vivaldiego w Bazylei i w Baden-Baden (Festspielhaus), Marzia w Catone in Utica Vivaldiego i Euterpe w Parnasso in festa Händla w Amsterdamie (Concertgebouw), Ozjasz w Juditha triumphans w Brukseli (Bozar), Londynie, Atenach i w Nowym Jorku (Carnegie Hall), a także wykonywała partie altowe w Mszy h-moll Bacha podczas tournée po Włoszech. W Teatro La Fenice śpiewała partię Diany w Cefalo e Procri Křenka oraz partię altową w Stabat Mater Pergolesiego pod dyrekcją Andrei Marcona.

W ostatnim czasie kreowała tytułową rolę w operze Enea in Caonia Hassego w Rzymie (Teatro di Villa Torlonia), jak też wystąpiła w Rinaldzie Händla/Leo (Argante) na Festiwalu della Valle d’Itria w Martina Franca pod dyrekcją Fabia Luisiego, La resurrezione (św. Maria Kleofasowa) z zespołem La Risonanza i Fabio Bonizzonim w Brukseli, Brugii i Metz oraz w Mesjaszu Händla z Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia w Palacio de la Ópera (A Coruña). W planach śpiewaczki znajduje się sceniczna wersja Juditha triumphans w Dutch National Opera and Ballet w Amsterdamie i ponownie w Auditorio Nacional de Música w Madrycie pod dyrekcją Andrei Marcona, a także Anna Boleyn Donizettiego (Smeton) w Liège i Maskacie.

Francesca Ascioti graduated in singing at the Conservatorio di Musica ‘Luca Marenzio’ in Brescia. She started her vocal studies with Bernadette Manca di Nissa and then with Teresa Berganza. In 2010 she won a scholarship that allowed her to attend the Ateneo Internazionale della Lirica in Sulmona.

In November 2013, she made her debut as Mistress Quickly in Verdi’s Falstaff in Busseto, with Renato Bruson, Marina Bianchi directing, a co-production between the Accademia dell Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Teatro Regio in Parma. In 2014, she was involved in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania. In the same year, she sang as Zita in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi in Piacenza and as Baronessa di Champigny in Rota’s Il cappello di paglia di Firenze in Bari with Elena Barbalich directing. In the following seasons, she sang as Ozias in Vivaldi’s Juditha triumphans under Alessandro De Marchi in Venice. Francesca Ascioti has taken part in the Riccardo Muti Academy, singing as Mistress Quickly in Falstaff under the baton of Maestro Muti. Other engagements under the baton of Andre Marcon include: Giunone in Vivaldi’s La fida ninfa in Basel and in Baden-Baden (Festspielhaus); Marzia in Vivaldi’s Catone in Utica and Euterpe in Handel’s Parnasso in festa at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam; Ozias in Juditha triumphans in Brussels (Bozar), London, Athens and at the Carnegie Hall in New York; Bach’s Mass in B Minor on tour in Italy. At the Teatro La Fenice, she has sung the role of Diana in the production of Křenek’s Cefalo e Procri and took the alto part in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater under Andrea Marcon.

Most recently she sang the title role in Hasse’s Enea in Caonia in Rome (Teatro di Villa Torlonia); Handel/Leo’s Rinaldo (Argante) in Martina Franca at the Festival della Valle d’Itria under Fabio Luisi; Handel’s La resurrezione (St Mary Cleophas) with La Risonanza and Fabio Bonizzoni in Brussels, Bruges and Metz; Handel’s Messiah with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia at the Palacio de la Ópera (A Coruña). Plans include: a staged production of Juditha triumphans at the Dutch National Opera and Ballet in Amsterdam and again at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, under Andrea Marcon; Donizetti’s Anna Bolena (Smeton) in Liège and on tour in Muscat.
