2016 WHERE TO NOW? Lisa Gerrard and Polish stars in Zbigniew Preisner’s play at the NFM.

Zbigniew Preisner, an award-winning composer of international fame will come to Wrocław – the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016 in a new role – not only as a music composer, but also as a director. On October 10, the audience gathered at the National Forum of Music will see the première of a lyrical and musical play directed by the artist, titled 2016 Where to Now? (2016 Dokąd?), featuring Lisa Gerrard, Jerzy Trela, Beata Rybotycka, Anna Szłapak, Edyta Krzemień, Jacek Wójcicki and others.

The script for the show was created by poet Ewa Lipska, based on the works by Lucius Annaeus Seneca and her own poems.

The play is a part of European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016 Music and Theatre event programme. The event is financed from the EEA and Norway Grants provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
