Piotr Roemer jest absolwentem Akademii Muzycznej w Krakowie w specjalnościach teoria muzyki i kompozycja. Obecnie pisze rozprawę doktorską w Akademii Muzycznej w Krakowie na specjalności kompozycja. Jest również tancerzem i nauczycielem tanga argentyńskiego. W latach 2017–2018 współpracował z zespołem Tangere prowadzonym przez światowej sławy tancerza Gianpiera Galdiego oraz występował m.in. na pokazach w Pagani, Neapolu, Palermo, Rawennie oraz KlużNapoce. Pisze opowiadania i teksty o muzyce. Jest laureatem Stypendium Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego (2010), Stypendium Miasta Krakowa (2010), Stypendium Artystycznego Fundacji Sapere Auso (2011), stypendium w ramach Funduszu Popierania Twórczości im. A. Szczypiorskiego przy Stowarzyszeniu Autorów ZAiKS (2014) oraz Stypendium Twórczego Miasta Krakowa (2016).

Piotr Roemer graduated from the Academy of Music in Kraków in music theory and composition. Currently, he is writing a dissertation in composition at the Academy of Music in Cracow. He is also a dancer and teacher of Argentine tango. From 2017–2018, he collaborated with the Tangere ensemble, led by the worldrenowned dancer Gianpiero Galdi, and performed, among others, at shows in Pagani, Naples, Palermo, Ravenna, and ClujNapoca. He writes short stories and articles about music. Winner of the Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2010), Scholarship of the City of Kraków (2010), Artistic Scholarship of the Sapere Auso Foundation (2011), scholarship of the Andrzej Szczypiorski Fund for the Support of Creativity affiliated to the Association of Authors ZAiKS (2014), and the Scholarship of the Creative City of Kraków (2016).
